WWF-India Maharashtra State
Office conducted a Teachers’ Training Workshop on 7th Aug, 2013. It
was conducted in-collaboration with Department of Environmental Science D. E.
S. Fergusson College, Pune. 22 teachers & professors from 10 different Educational
Institutes participated in this workshop. The theme was based on this year’s
World Environment Day Theme – “Think. Eat. Save.” The focus of the workshop was
to sensitize teachers and ultimately students about the food that we eat today, agricultural
practices that we have in our country. The sessions taken include – sharing
information on WWF-India’s program for schools & colleges, the food that we eat today -Think eat
and save, kitchen garden, nature games, film screenings etc.
