Dear Friends,
WWF-India, MSO had organized a
nature camp to Silent Valley National Park, Parambikulum tiger reserve, Peechi
Vazhani, Chimony Wildlife Sanctuaries, Kerala. 10 participants attended the
camp. During this camp, we got a chance to explore different forest types such
as moist deciduous, semi evergreen and evergreen forests etc. We started from
Mumbai on 16th November and returned on 25th November,
2012 with tons of sweet memories of unforgettable forest life – the wildlife.
We also visited the Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History
(SACON, Coimbatore). We met various research scholars, scientists and the
Director of SACON himself Dr. P. A. Azeez. We thank Forest departments of
Kerala and Tamil Nadu and also SACON especially Dr. Goldin Quadros for making
this camp a success.
